The Rainbow Brand workshops are creative, reflective and actionable sessions designed to help you bring all the colours of your brand together so you can bring it to life and shine, baby, shine.
about the workshops...
As a brand photographer, I spend all this time talking with women about how we were going to ‘bring their personal brand to life’.
But before we could get to photos we needed to go back a step. We needed to really understand what it is that we want to show. This is where many of my clients faltered. Not because they weren’t talented, skilled or have great ideas. Nope. They faltered because they weren’t confident in who they were and what they offered.
They were doing things arse-about. They had been focusing on the fancy brand, the offer and the outcome, but not on who they were and all the great stuff they brought to the table. The things that actually made their personal brand PERSONAL.
That’s why I developed my Rainbow Brand process.
These workshop uses art techniques and creative expression to help you go within. We excavate the good stuff from the doubts, insecurities and all the other crap that you may have layered on yourself.
Making art and using your creativity is a fun (and effective) way to connect to your inner world. You don't need to be an artist or creative to do it. It is simply a tool that helps us connect to our imagination, access thoughts and feelings and to do so in a way that is safe and more aligned to our 'right brain'.
You are the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and we are getting it ready to shine.
Workshop One: The Rainbow within
Through a series of hands-on activities and guided discussions you’ll:
- Get clarity about your skills and strengths. (Knowing and sharing the strengths that you bring to the table is pretty darn important if you want to make an impact.)
- Uncover specific ways that you are you’er than you by shining spotlight on your strengths and unique talents (because THIS is your ‘USP’ and what sets you apart)
- Walk away with a passion statement about what it is you stand for and your burning desire for the change you want to make in the world. (We create connection through emotion, so buckle up and get ready to feel).
- Create a personal manifesto. (A document that will keep you on track and inspire you, but also help you communicate your brand to your audience - whoever that is.)
Workshops are available separately but I'd recommend bundling them for the best outcomes and value!
Workshop Two: The Brand Translator
Once you are clearer on your rainbow within, you will be able to now show the world that beautiful light.
Workshop Two will start you on your journey to make the difference (in whatever way that is) with the world.
- a ‘signature statement’ (aka elevator pitch) that is unique and real to you, and advice where and how to use it.
- a framework for telling your story, in your words
- a carefully considered mood board of images. We will identify images based on design aesthetics, and my photography expertise. This will help you consistently share the essence of your brand.
- colour palettes informed by colour psychology research to share your core traits, and,
- a next step action plan.

My goal through Renee Shea Photography is to support women in business to build a strong and trusted brand online. See, the story that you tell through your words and imagery build a relationship of trust and connection, which in turn leads to better business outcomes.
But it's not just that.
Through developing MY personal brand I have become more confident. I am surer of my strengths. More accepting of my weaknesses. And I am a whole lot more clear about the impact that I want to make in the world. It wasn't what I was expecting when I set out in business, but it sure is a welcome side effect.
I want women to know that they are more than enough, right now, to go after their dreams. They have the skills to start that business. The experience to get the next job, and the passion to make that project a reality. See, I think we all want to make a difference in the world. But along the way we've lost the confidence in our ability to make it happen. Helping as many women as possible realise they can do it - THAT is the impact that I want to make.
I have been a photographer for well over ten years and have spent the last three years creating digital content almost exclusively for businesses wanting to connect with their online audience. I also have a Masters in Human Resources and have spent a lot of years in training, facilitating and career development roles. It's an unusual combination, but I think it gives me some cool skills and experience to help you!
